CARRON MITCHELL, focuses on the diverse legal needs of entertainment industry professionals. She has extensive experience representing recording artists, music producers, songwriters, actors, content creators, entrepreneurs, start-ups, established companies and other entertainment industry professionals.
With prior experience working within the music, media and radio industries, she has an insider’s perspective on a creative’s needs, and advises and assists clients with: negotiating various types of agreements, including but not limited to music recording, music publishing, touring, merchandise, sponsorship and endorsement, talent and production, television, modeling, talent representation, blogging, content creation and content monetization. She also works closely with clients in the structuring, developing and the initial launch of new business enterprises.
Carron is a graduate of Hofstra University, School of Law and is admitted to practice in both California and New York states. Prior to joining Hertz Lichtenstein & Young LLP, Carron served as Counsel in the Intellectual Property Counseling and Transactions practice group at Nixon Peabody LLP.
